I've been proofreading a book that has a few pages of praise for the book, and other books in its series, before the actual title page. I am a little bit confused here. After I checked the book in the first time, I received an email listing some things that still needed to be fixed; one of them was numbering for the first few pages. I'm new to proofreading for Bookshare, but I know most books I have read usually start out with the title page being Roman Numeral I, the next page being II, and so on. But I'm not sure how to go about it with this book, as I don't know how the first few pages are actually numbered. Should I go from page 1 of the document and start with the praise for the book and others in the series, which spans maybe four pages, or start numbering I, II, III etc. with the title page?
