How to save download textbook on iPad hard drive

When accessing a large Bookshare “math textbook” on EasyReader, using an iPad, it takes several minutes for the textbook to be downloaded/copied.  Is there a way to save the downloaded text onto the iPad hard drive, so the text doesn’t have to be downloaded/copied every time it’s opened in Bookshare, when using the EasyReader App?
