Hey Tommy,

It's always best to start with how you'd like to open our books as we have so many options available to our members.  Will you be using a mobile device like an iPad or a phone of some kind, a computer such as a Mac or a Windows computer, or another device?

And how do you want to read our books, do you just want audio, or would you like to have the text to be displayed, maybe with highlighting as it's read, or do you want braille?

Hey Tommy,

For the Chromebooks I highly recommend our Bookshare Web Reader.  It's fast and easy, just select the Read Now link found next to or under the Download button for each book.  Just in case we do have a rare issue with some Chromebooks that use the wrong text to speech voice, if your Chromebook sounds a little strange with Bookshare try downloading this text to speech voice: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-os-us-english-fema/efdojdlmjknacnljjdedapanceanigkh

For Android we have two great options, Go Read and Voice Dream Reader.  Go Read is free but doesn't provide word level highlighting at this time, it just does phrase or sentence level highlighting.  Voice Dream Reader costs just $9.99 but does include word level highlighting and a very nice reading experience.

If you're interested we have pages that have some more helpful information and screenshots of what they look like here: Go Read and  Voice Dream Reader.
